Kayla Miskiv, Studio Manager
Querent was born because one day, Kayla asked Mish a question, “do you know anything about tarot cards?” A stickler for research, Kayla worked with Mish to create the stepping stones for Querent and is now responsible for managing the team and project’s progress. When she’s not playing and designing games, she loves to read and write.
Mish Shea, Design Lead
Mish leads on all content creation for Querent. From spread creation to card meanings and examples, she uses her deep knowledge of tarot to make sure The Cartomancer’s Tome is accurately represented. Mish has a background in narrative and level design and enjoys playing DnD and exploring Burlington. Fun fact: she has an aggressive amount of washi tape and is on a mission to make everything “more pretty”!
Amila Nuhodzic, Creative Lead
Amila is responsible for all things visual with Querent, whether that’s marketing, social media, tarot cards, or guidebook design. She has a background in illustration and UI/UX design. Her most rewarding accomplishment has been growing a cantaloupe from a baby seed this past summer in her garden.
Maggie Decapua, Narrative Intern
Maggie is on our narrative team, working hard to create meaningful examples for each tarot card in our book. When not making games (or playing them!), you can find her writing poetry or training with her roller derby team.
Sage Burns, Narrative Intern
Sage is also on our narrative team, working to create meaningful examples for each tarot card in our book. Sage is a game design student with a focus in narrative and level design. She lives with three other game designers and their swamp creatures they call “cats”.
Adrian Taul, Illustration Intern
Adrian is responsible for creating beautiful illustrations for our guidebook, The Cartomancer’s Tome. She has a background in 2D and 3D character design and enjoys hanging out in various coffee shops around Burlington.
Jaymee Fulcher, Production Support
Jaymee is currently interning with Rad Magpie and is here to support the team in whatever way we need it! She is a game production management student and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, their two dogs, and hedgehog. Cute!
